Flora Gautheron

In my work I explore the influence of moral factors and examine how various situations could modulate their effect on the decision-making process.

I have received my M.Sc. in Cognitive Sciences at PHELMA engineering school and Grenoble Alpes University ; and my M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence at ENSIMAG engineering school and Grenoble Alpes University. Before that, I have completed bachelor's degrees in physics and in philosophy at Grenoble Alpes University, in France.

During my PhD, my focus was on unraveling the underlying processes of moral decision-making, integrating insights from both social psychology and modeling perspectives. I explored the specific influence of moral factors and examined how various situations could modulate their influence on the decision-making process. I employed Mouse-Tracking experimental paradigms along with models from Dynamic Neural Fields Theory to describe and analyze the dynamics and influence of each factor throughout the decision-making processes.

I have recently begun a new postdoctoral position within the CREDO project, where I aim to model how religious devotion impacts moral decision-making.
